Intramurals 2013

            Kriiing! Kriing! This is the first time I set an alarm. I was so excited for Intrams. I went to school very early and immediately practiced basketball for my sport. After it , we had programs in the gym. We watched the contest in Mass Demo and Mr. and Ms. Physique. All were cheering for their own team. And then the most awaited part is when it was declared that the Intramurals is now open. All went to their respective areas of their sports. I went to the basketball court and we played basketball there. Our game is 11:00-12:00 o’clock. My teammates are Patrice pabiton, Patrice Pangilinan, Princess, Joanna, Jamie, Audrey, Allen, Alyssa and Leslie. Unfortunately, I was the captain ball. This was our first game versus the Green Tamaraws. It was very hot but it’s worth it because we won. After the game, it feels like we’re all tortured because of fatigueness. We watched the other games after it. I was assigned to help in scoring the basketball girls and I was the one scoring in the score sheet. There are also contests in Dance Sport and Campus Duet. The next day, we had the game in basketball with the red lions. We played the game at 11:00-12:00 again and it was more tiring this time. Bad luck got into us during the game because one player got injured, another one is hyperventilating and the other one (the MVP) is playing badminton during that time. But even though these happened we’re still happy that we had finished the game even we lose. I appreciated a lot the support of our classmates and other grade 8 students in our team. Every end of the quarter , they are giving water to us which helped a lot to us. They also cheered for us. After the game, even we lose, they rejoiced and someone splashed water to us and we had fun. We had the awarding after it and we’re second in basketball. Overall, we, the yellow cardinals are second.

             This Intramurals is an event that I’ll never forget. The fun, sadness, enjoyment, fatigueness and everything that I experienced are priceless. I want to give my deepest gratitude to all the people who helped us and supported us.

Explanatory Essay

Explanation

       Now, I am here at CavSci because of the hard work I poured in when I was elementary. I study hard and take reviews for the entrance exams. I practiced speaking in English for interview and fortunately after some exams and interview, I passed. I’ll not be here too without the support of my parents. They helped me achieved this success. They supported me and go with me during the interview and they even enrolled me in a review center just for me to pass so I would like to give my deepest gratitude for them.

Unforgettable Days with Ma'am Pareja

             Ma'am Pareja is a strict but kind teacher. She does her best for her students and she cares for them. Because of this, I had many unforgettable experiences with her during our Grade -7 Life.

             As our teacher, she does her duties well but one time she told us to bring materials for an experiment but we didn't bring any materials. She was very angry to us but still after it she forgave us and gave us chance. When I was cleaning the lab, she called my attention  and she told me
 something about my childhood. I was very happy after I heard it. i still remember when we're listening to Ma'am Pareja's stories where she used her knowledge in some situations and I was very amazed with that. I'll not forget too when we had Science Camp. She told us to eat after we do some duties and to rest after it. She also visits our station to see if we're safe there. I can see that she really cares for us and that time she was very happy because the event was successful. I'll not forget too when Ma'am gave us jokes during classes and all of us were laughing.

            I was just sad that ma'am Pareja would now retired. I wished that I'll spend more time with her in school and she can still share her knowledge to us but it couldn't happen. I just said to myself that I am still lucky because even in a short time I experienced studying lessons with her for a year and I had learned many things from her.

 "The Story"

            There was a simple girl named Princess. She met a nice and friendly girl named Maysa and they became best friends. They grew up and Princess wants a deeper relationship. One time, Princess felt in love with a boy named Niall who also felt in love with her. After months, they became boy friends and girlfriends that Princess had no time for Maysa . Maysa was always alone and feeling sad and Princess saw her one time. Suddenly ,Princess felt guilty for doing it to her best friend whose always with her in times of happiness and tragic. Then she convinced Niall to let Maysa join their happy moments and became best friend of Maysa too, Niall agreed and they spend their happy and sad moments together. After months, Maysa met a boy named Derfla, they fell in love with each other and they became boyfriends and girlfriends too. Now, the four of them enjoy their lives together and spend each time with their loved ones.
